Glenn Hammer is the founder and president of A Matter of Fact®, a background screening firm that has seen background checks move from a "What is it?" status in 1994 to a business "Best Practice" today. During this time, Glenn has successfully lead A Matter of Fact® through a number of economic downturns, including the bursting of the "Dot Com Bubble" and the aftermath of September 11, 2001.
Glenn has spent his career on the cutting edge of technology, using technology to not only build his own successful businesses, but also to coach employers and fellow business owners and managers on the many solutions to business problems that technology offers.
Glenn has 40+ years of experience in the information industry. He is also a consultant and a speaker on Employment Background Checks and a self taught entry level Search Engine Optimization coach.
Glenn has not only shared his expertise with employers and fellow business owners and managers, but has been an active member of the communities in which he has lived and worked. He has served on school site counsels, been a member of school district hiring panels, provided leadership to adult and youth organizations, and most recently served as an officer in his local home owners association.
Glenn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Computer Science from Brigham Young University, and his MBA from Santa Clara University. He is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants, the Society for Human Resource Management, the National Federation of Independent Businesses and is a Founding Member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners.
